Park Rules

1. Permits required for all drivers and passengers.

2. Permits purchased online must be checked-in at the general store. Permits purchased at the general store can be will be checked-in at that moment. (Purchasing online greatly speeds up the process.)

3. All riders must have a permit, printed or electronic, while on trail system.

4. Everyone under the age of 18 must wear a helmet ( and eye protection (ATVs, SXSs, dirt bikes, and OHV on black trails.) If you choose not to wear a helmet and over the age of 18 you will still need to sign a waiver that says you accept your risks.

5. All operators and passengers must meet manufacturers minimum size and age requirements.

6. No alcoholic beverages of any kind allowed on trails. Anyone riding while intoxicated or under the influence will be suspended.

7. No riding in mining, logging, or gas/oil drilling areas.

8. No use of fireworks or open fires allowed on trails.

9. Firing of weapons is strictly prohibited.

10. No littering. All violators will be barred from property.

11. No glass containers on trails. 

12. Stay on marked trails. Obey all signs, gates, and barriers. 

13. No stopping in the middle of trails (Pull off to the side.)

14. All trails follow a two-way traffic pattern (Watch for oncoming traffic.) 

15. Obey all speed limit markers.

16. All vehicles must have working front and rear lights when driving at night.

17. Swimming is strictly prohibited in any body of water located on park property.

18. No harvesting of ginseng, cutting firewood, or collecting fieldstone.

18. Respect all wildlife.
